For the analyses of laterally loaded piles, the two most common methods are:
the p-y Matlock analysis for piles in clay:
GroundCentral_MatlockPYcyclic_revA
the p-y API Sand analysis for piles in sand:
GroundCentral_APIsand_PYcyclic_revA
While performing the p-y analyses, the results of Broms analysis are also presented. This is particularly useful for limit state design with load factors and geotechnical reduction factors to get a safe pile length for design.
Recently, we back tested the API sand model against a PEERS Blind test
2024 Blind Prediction Contest | Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center
We participated in a Blind Test Competition! Although we haven't won, after reviewing the results and introducing some enhancements, we managed to get a good fit!

The results were announced in the recording below (11:36 min)
